Nail of the Day: Twinkling Christmas

Two of my favorite (beauty related) things about the holidays are the ability to have christmas nails, and the huge varieties of holiday polish collections, such as the 2011 holiday OPI and China glaze collections, which I'm quite a fan of.

For this look, I used OPI's A Ruby For Rudolf (from the 2008 Holiday for Toyland collection), and China Glaze's Glittering Garland for the accent nail, and Twinkle Lights for the glitter tips (both from the 2011 Holiday collection).

From Left: A Ruby For Rudolf, Glittering Garland, Twinkle Lights.

A Ruby for Rudolf is the perfect Christmas red. It shows up a bit lighter, but is a deep shimmery red. Glittering Garland was my favorite holiday polish I ordered, a beautiful smooth emerald green with gold glitter. Twinkle lights is one of the most christmas-y polishes out there, in my opinion - it is tinsel in a polish!

I love Christmas manicures! Do you have any particular polishes you like to use in yours?
