NOTD: Contrasting Pastels

Melbourne has been graced with some fine weather today, and it put me in the mood for some bright polish! I know pastels are more spring toned, but I think coral is a colour that is perfect for summer!

For this combination, I used Butter London's Trout Pout (the peachy-pink coral) and NYC's Mint Leaf.

Butter London is becoming ever more popular in the beauty community because 'Three Free' - free from three nasty chemicals found in many other polishes. As much as I love the colour, this is such a creamy polish that it showed every ridge and mark on my nail, so I had to 3 quite thick coats and it marks easily, but other than that, I had no problem.

It's also showing up more peach than pink, but that's just due to the lighting - it's a really gorgeous colour!

Have you done any summer mani's lately?
Love Gianna

  2. This is a gorgeous nail combination! <3 it! That is too bad about this particular Butter London polish taking three coats to cover. It is nearly impossible to tell if polishes are going to come out right until trying them! I don't yet have any Butter London polishes, but they are getting to be so popular to purchase here (US) that I will probably have to try one out sometime!
PS - I found your blog via the Monday Beauties Blog Hop! :)
