Review: The Speck-Tacular Australis Crystal Colour Top Coat

The Australis Special Nail Effects Crystal Colour Top Coat is a holographic light reflecting foil top coat that adds a new glitter dimension when applied on top of a base nail colour.
It is a nail transformer bringing out the bery best in ever nail colour! Works best over a black nail colour.

As many of you know, I am a big fan of Amanda from Thai Tales, as well as a big fan of the Aussie cosmetic brand Australis, so when I saw her review this polish, I knew I had to have it. I instantly fell in love with this gorgeous top coat.

The Crystal Colour Top coat is a clear based top coat fill with varying sizes of light-reflecting foil flakes. The transparent pieces reflect colours of blues, greens, yellows and oranges in the light, and add a little something special to any manicure. Like Australis noted, they do work best over black, like Amanda did in her post, but I did it over a colour-blocking manicure, and it still showed up quite nicely!

This kind of special effect polish is quite a popular trend at the moment: Essie have just released their new range - LuxeEffects Glitter Top Coats - and this highly resembles one of the polishes, Shine Of Times. The benefit is that it is much more accessible and affordable for us Aussies, being available at Australis counters (in Priceline, K-Mart etc) for only $8.95! It is such a steal! And to make it better, Priceline are currently having $3 off Australis products. I've said it once, I've said it again - Australis products are amazing!

I'd go check it out as this top coat as soon as you can! It's worth it.
Love Gianna
