February Favorites

Sorry for the delay! I started uni this week, plus I've worked quite a bit, but I've finally got them up! This month I've actually got a few new products that I was excited to test out, I found I loved, and have become much loved parts of my collection. I finally have some favorites that are different (and don't involve my Naked Palette!), and I'm quite excited to share them with you.

Australis Mineral Color Inject Lip Travel Case - I had a full size version of Lambada (the pale pink), and I loved the formula and the smell, but the color wasn't too becoming on me. However, I am now sold on the entire line, and plan to pick up many full size colors, because I love the formulation, and overall, just everything about these glosses!

Covergirl Intense Shadow Blast in Beige Blaze - I've just done a review on these here, but this color, the beige in particular, is perfect as a shadow or a base for any look!

Napoleon Perdis Cheek to Chic Blush Duo in Sand - I purchased this in a set last year, and it wasn't until I dyed my hair dark brown about two months ago that I realized the beauty of this blush. Both of them are pretty, but it's the peachy brown that I love. It's perfect for when I want to do darker eyes, and the slight amount of glitter adds a little bit of glam!

Australis Nail Colour in Aqua -  I picked this up for $3AU in a bin at Target, and it was such a steal! This polish is a gorgeous color with relatively long lasting power! One of my new favorites.

Face of Australia Mineral Therapy Illuminator in Angel Flame - I did a review on this here, so I won't go into much detail, but all I can say is: pretty! Such a gorgeous blush or highlight color.

Maybelline Limited Edition Baby Lips in Protecting Berry - Since I was about twelve, I have not had a single lipbalm in my bag for more then a week, until this beautiful thing came along. It's moisturizing, smells great, and really, who can pass up a limited edition product? Another review for this here.

Maybelline Dream LumiTouch in Ivory - As reviewed here, this baby is my lifesaver! I have terrible black circles under my eyes, and this works wonders to cover them up.

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner in 061 Jet Black - This is a rediscovered product that I only started reusing because I couldn't find my Maybelline MasterLiner. I thought I originally stopped using this because of crappy staying power, but I was wrong! It's creamy, pigmented and lasts extremely well!

One of my favorite YouTubers, RachelJadee, usually does a non beauty favorites section to her videos. I thought I might show y'all my other favorites of the month, and if you're not interested in seeing them again, just let me know!

Favorite TV Show - The Vampire Diaries

This month I rediscovered my love of the Vampire Diaries, particularly due to The Originals giving the show a bit of a welcomed mix up. It doesn't hurt that Klaus and Elijah look the way they do! And I'm loving the Klaus and Caroline blossoming romance at the moment.

Favorite Actor - Tom Hardy
I saw This Means War, starring Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy, on Valentines day with some friends, and I fell in love with Tom Hardy and all his British beauty! One of my friends told me he was in the BBC TV Movie of Wuthering Heights as Heathcliff, which I watched and just loved him in it!

Favorite Book - Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
I'm embarrassed to say I  had never read this book I saw the movie mentioned above. I've always wanted to, but never got around to seeing it. I've started reading it and am about halfway through, but have had to keep stopping and starting. Apart from the caretaker Joseph's language and the brat Cathy, I'm really enjoying the book so far!

So these have been my February Favorites this month. What have you been loving?

  2. Gianna I 100% agree with you about the Maybelline Dream Lumitouch. I use it every day! I'm surprised at how long it's lasted me actually so it's fantastic value for money too.
