Tag: The Colors of the Rainbow

Many of you know that I am a big fan of tags - I think they are so much fun! One of my favorite bloggers, Aly from Seven Things Beauty, has created a super fun fun tag - The Colors of the Rainbow Tag.


Basically, you have to name one beauty product in your collection representing each color of the rainbow. One of each for:

• Red
• Orange
• Yellow
• Green
• Blue
• Indigo 
• Violet

Aly was particularly creative in suggesting that you could use not only the color of the product, but also the packaging as a colour. Get the concept? Ok, here we go!

Red

Red was probably the easiest product for me to choose. My favorite lipstick of all time is my red Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in 090 True Red, so it was no surprise this was my choice.

Orange

Orange was a difficult color for me to find, because out of all my makeup, I only have two orange products! I ended up deciding on my Covergirl WetSlicks Fruit Spritzers in 520 Papaya Splash.

Yellow

Yellow was another difficult color for me to find! I have no yellow products at all, but luckily, I have a few yellow packages. Here I have the Covergirl LashBlast Length Water Resistant Mascara.

Green

Once again, another difficult one, as I am not a fan of ridiculously colored makeup, but out of all of them, this product did not need an extra second of thought! One of my favorite polishes of all time is the OPI Fresh Frog Of Bel Air glitter from the 2011 Muppets holiday collection.

Blue

Blue is one of the most predominant colors in my wardrobe, but unfortunately not one I wear to much of on my face. However, I do have this gorgeous Covergirl Eye Enhancers Quad in Crystal Waters. The only reason I don't wear this, is because the water is horribly pigmented!

Indigo

Indigo is another one of my favorite colors, but it's not one of my favorites to wear on my eyes. However I do have this old Red Earth eyeshadow in PU078 (I think it's an old brand - I haven't seen it around in years!)

Violet

Violet is a funny color. I love purple, and I love blue, but I'm not a fan of violet. However, I do love OPI's Planks A Lot from the 2011 Pirates of the Caribbean collection. It is such a nice color to wear all year round!
