Holy Grail of The Week: Lush Fresh Face Mask in Cupcake

So keeping with the skincare theme, my Holy Grail product for this week has to be the Lush Fresh Face Mask in Cupcake. I've spoken about this mask before, and it is definitely (as mentioned in my Seven Sins of Beauty tag) one of my most delicious, and most favorite, beauty products.

So a tag that I've been seeing floating around lately is the 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty, and it looked like a bit of fun, so I figured I'd give it a go.

October Favorites

So, November is finally here, and I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! Maybe because it was a new year for me, or just because uni was so fast paced, but this year has just gone sooooooo quickly! Anyway, a few of these products i've had for a while and they've made their way into my daily routine, but i've never shown them before, so they deserve to shown. The rest, are just products I've picked up recently and have started loving!

Urban Decay's Naked Palette - I've had this palette for a few months and I adore it so much!! The colours are extremely pigmented, and even though I haven't used the dark colours as much, this palette is simply amazing and will forever be a favorite.

Maybelline's Falsies Mascara - The only thing I can say about this is 'WOW'. I picked this up on sale because i've heard so much about it, and i'm not sure if its because if the curved wand or the formula, but this mascara is brilliant. It really gives the look of false eyelashes!

Rimmel London Kate Collection Long Lasting Lipstick 05 - I've mentioned this before a few times, and all I can say is that this berry lipstick is affordable, the perfect formula and amazing colour.

Maybelline Super Stay 24hr Foundation in Sand Beige - This foundation gives great coverage and long wear. The only problem is there are like, 5 colours that are nearly identical, and I just happened to pick one, that if applied too heavily, has the potential to turn orange. If I apply just a thin, even coat this foundation is the bomb.

BYS blusher in CandyFloss - A really light candy pink that, I think, is a perfect colour for a nice soft flush of colour.

Sportsgirl Nail It! Nail polish in Guava - I haven't used this in a while as I'm waiting until we have good weather because this colour begs for sun! A few coats of this gorgeous coral and it it reaches full coverage. The only problem is it chips relatively quickly.

Sally Hansen Base and Top Coat - I got sent this after I complained about a Rimmel nail polish staining my nails yellow (mentioned here) and it's actually really good. Not that I would expect anything else from a Sally Hansen product. This is a must have when doing my nails.

BYS eyeshadow palette in Metallics - My sister got me this palette ages ago, and I've barely used it, because as you may know, I have a few issues with elaborate eyeshadow, but last week I got this really nice and simple eyeliner look going with the blue and green colours, so now this palette is a favorite of mine! It's also a really cheap and pigmented palette.

Australis Mineral Inject Lipgloss in Lambada - At first I was against this lipgloss because it was a really milky consistency that left visible lines from application, but after a while and very thin application and spreading out with fingers, it has begun to grow on me. A very different colour to anything I have in my collection, and I love the smell!

Lush Cupcake Mask (not pictured) - You know the feeling of a freshly cleansed and moisturized face, after the moisturizer has sunk in, leaving an incredibly smooth face? This is what this mask does! Although a little pricey for the small tub that has a life of only 3 weeks, this chocolate-smelling mask is to die for, and will definitely be repurchased!

Beauty Haul

So I was at Chadstone today, and it just so happened Priceline had a 20% off sale on all Cosmetics and Skincare, so I bought a few things that I wanted to try (even though afterwards I found out the brands would have better sales on later on in the week). I also went to Lush for the first time after hearing so many great things, and let me tell you, I am a convert!

The Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipgloss in Lambada. I've been super impressed with the new range of Australis products, so decided to try what I thought would be neutral lipgloss. From what I can tell, it's a creamy baby pink that I wouldn't usually wear (mostly due to a mix between a class in my weirdly coloured Italian skin, and it's baby pink), but I figure that a light enough coat would be a nicely tinted casual lipgloss. It also has a smell that reminds me of apricots, but its not an over-the-top smell, and I actually really like it.

The Covergirl Lipslicks in Demure is in the form of a lipstick, but has the wear of a very sheer gloss. It's a colour that isn't a stain, but provides a dash of darker colour to my lips, and I'm really looking forward to trying this out.

The next thing I purchased was a Face of Australia Eye Primer in Matte. My camera couldn't capture the true colour of the product, which is an off white, and has no shimmer in it (FOA have a shimmer primer too). It is a thick, creamy consistency, and I'm also looking forward to trying this.

After Priceline, i went to Lush, and even though at first I was put off by the abundance of smells, after browsing all the products, I fell in love with the place! I had to restrict myself and settled on the Cupcake Face Mask, which is supposed to be good for oily skin (and smells like chocolate!), and the Sea Vegetable Soap, which is supposed to be uplifting. At the moment, they have a wide variety of Christmas products in, so I can't wait to go back to do my christmas shopping and bag me some goodies too!
