2011 is was the year that I stopped with my basic makeup routine and finally branched out, taking more pride and courage in my makeup looks. I also started experimenting with new looks and products, and I'm sure I've mentioned many of these before, but that is because they've made their way into my daily routine.

Nail of the Day: Twinkling Christmas

Two of my favorite (beauty related) things about the holidays are the ability to have christmas nails, and the huge varieties of holiday polish collections, such as the 2011 holiday OPI and China glaze collections, which I'm quite a fan of.

Christmas NOTD: Winter Wonderland

December is finally here, and that means the holidays! For me, that's Christmas, so my nail polish collection has expanded to compensate for Christmas time. Even though Australia don't have White Christmas', I saw a variation of this look on youtube and had to have this as the starter to my holiday nail season!

I've never used a China Glaze polish before, but after hearing so many great things about the brand in general, I've been wanting to give them a shot for a while. When I saw the China Glaze Let It Snow 2011 Holiday Collection, I knew I had to make these the beginning of my collection! There are so many beautiful shades that just scream 'Christmas' (or holiday season in general) to me, so I had to limit myself to four, but there are two more I'm debating about getting.
