Christmas and Boxing Day are the time of year when you can go all out (shopping wise) to spoil yourself and your loved ones, without feeling as guilty as you usually would due to the immense amount of sales around!

Christmas Beauty Wishlist

So Christmas is this Sunday, and although I didn't physically wish for something, in my head, there were many beauty related things I wish for!

1. Mac Products - I bought my first MAC foundation a while back, and I adore it! I wish the Australian prices weren't so dear, but needless to say, I wish for, well, basically everything!
2. Inglot eyeshadows - I bought an empty freedom palette to ensure that I gradually build up a collection
3. Benefit Box Blushes - Coralista and Bella Bamba are up the top of my list. They look so pretty and even though are pretty similar to others in my collection, are tickling my fancy.
4. A Sephora or Ulta to open up in Australia - no need for an explanation. This wish involves all American brands stocked, with American Prices
5. Real Techniques and Sigma Makeup Brushes - I've heard great things about these brands, and would love to try them!
6. An American friend - I would love an American penpal of sorts, to befriend, to do swaps with, and to buy stuff and have them send it too me.

5 Lip Products to get you through the Holiday Season

No matter how you choose to spend your holidays, one thing for certain is that it is a truly hectic time for everyone. Parties, events, shopping, holiday's and catchups - you name it, you'll most likely do it. In this time, you'll probably try to rush through your routine, and with these five lip products you'll have enough variety for a multitude of looks.

If I were going away for the holiday season, whether I lived in a country going through summer or winter, these would be the 5 lip products I would pack!

Two of my favorite (beauty related) things about the holidays are the ability to have christmas nails, and the huge varieties of holiday polish collections, such as the 2011 holiday OPI and China glaze collections, which I'm quite a fan of.

Christmas NOTD: Winter Wonderland

December is finally here, and that means the holidays! For me, that's Christmas, so my nail polish collection has expanded to compensate for Christmas time. Even though Australia don't have White Christmas', I saw a variation of this look on youtube and had to have this as the starter to my holiday nail season!

Holiday Nail Polish Haul Part 2: OPI

I'm a big fan of OPI nail polishes, and it seems like the majority of the beauty blogging community are too, so when I saw the New OPI Muppets Holiday 2011 Holiday Collection, I knew I had to have it. The collection was released to celebrate the release of the Muppets movie, and contains 6 glitter polishes and 6 shimmers. I originally only liked the three I purchased, with the other glitters similar to those I already have and the others I deemed to be nothing special, but after reviewing other swatches, I will definitely be sourcing the silver and rose gold shimmers.

I've never used a China Glaze polish before, but after hearing so many great things about the brand in general, I've been wanting to give them a shot for a while. When I saw the China Glaze Let It Snow 2011 Holiday Collection, I knew I had to make these the beginning of my collection! There are so many beautiful shades that just scream 'Christmas' (or holiday season in general) to me, so I had to limit myself to four, but there are two more I'm debating about getting.
