Travel Series: What's in my Carry On Bag

Hey guys! As you are reading this, myself, my parents and my sister (you might know her, Deanna from IvoryStormMakeup) are probably about to take off for the US. Gahhhhh I'm so nervous! My carry on was about the easiest thing to pack... apart from the toiletries. Everytime I thought I'd had enough, I'd remember something else I'd need, and eventually the bags were nearly full. But travelling is that - stressful, nervewracking and exciting! I know I always enjoy reading posts like these, so I thought I'd do a super quick post what I'm bringing with me on board.

As you most likely know, there is a rule with bringing liquids, aerosols and gels - they must be under 100mL and contained in a 1L size bag or smaller. Not easy, let me tell you. So these two pictures are the liquids bag, and the 'other' bag (makeup, bobby pins etc.. anything I will need thats not liquid, or don't want to risk breaking in the luggage {e.g. my dear hoola bronzer})

Liquids bag
Yes to Cucumbers travel size wipes| Fess Nasal Spray (I have an annoying cold)| Bourjois volumizer mascara| Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation| Maybelline Baby Lips in Menthol| Travel Size Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defence  SPF 30+| Travel Size Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser| Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey (Finally got it!)| Mitchum unscented deodorant| Inglot Cream Concealer| Travel Size Travel Simple Moisturizer| Travel Size Jurlique Rose Hand Cream| Throaties| Travel Size White Glow Toothpaste| Travel Size Listerine| Lucas Paw Paw Ointment (My Aussie Beauty Fave)

Other Bag
Benefit Hoola Bronzer| Travel Size Kleenex| Australis Paparazzi Perfect Fresh and Flawless Pressed Powder| Throat lozenges| Essence double ended eye liner| Bourjois Kabuki| Panadol| Travel Size Toothbrush | Compact Mirror| Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Blush| White Glow Dental Flosser Toothpicks| Dior Eyeliner Brush | Travel Size Sigma E25| Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Palette| Comb

So thats it. Thats everything. I know it looks ridiculously excessive, but I've never been on a 15hr flight before, and I wanted to be prepared for anything! Wish me luck guys!

If you want any reviews of these products, or have anything in particular you would like to specifically see about my travels/college/beauty life, don't hesitate to let me know!

So for now, bye for a few days!

  2. I am so excited for you girl! I think you will really like the US (although of course, I want to go to Australia! Haha :D) and I can't wait to do our swap! Now that you will live here, you'll be a LOT closer and shipping will be LOTS cheaper! I have loads of things I've just swatched & never used, I'm sure you'll enjoy them more than me ;)

  3. Have a safe trip! I travel back and forth to my parent's house pretty often, and packing all my makeup/skin stuff is always such a pain. I can never fit everything I want in my bag, LOL. I think you did really well with your carry-on bag!

  5. My travel on for the USA consists of half of that, ha ha! I would have warned you - roll-on deodorant tends to leak in the cabin. No idea why!! I pack a spray-on for the plane, and a roll-on in my checked baggage.

Anyway, enjoy the USA! You'll love it. Sephora!!! :)
