Hey guys! As you are reading this, myself, my parents and my sister (you might know her, <a href="http://www.ivorystormakeup.blogspot.com.au/">Deanna from IvoryStormMakeup</a>) are probably about to take off for the US. Gahhhhh I'm so nervous! My carry on was about the easiest thing to pack... apart from the toiletries. Everytime I thought I'd had enough, I'd remember something else I'd need, and eventually the bags were nearly full. But travelling is that - stressful, nervewracking and exciting! I know I always enjoy reading posts like these, so I thought I'd do a super quick post what I'm bringing with me on board.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>As you most likely know, there is a rule with bringing liquids, aerosols and gels - they must be under 100mL and contained in a 1L size bag or smaller. Not easy, let me tell you. So these two pictures are the liquids bag, and the 'other' bag (makeup, bobby pins etc.. anything I will need thats not liquid, or don't want to risk breaking in the luggage {e.g. my dear hoola bronzer})<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T8WQkW7Oyt4/UOluPJPaIxI/AAAAAAAAAyI/xrXKuJy_npE/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T8WQkW7Oyt4/UOluPJPaIxI/AAAAAAAAAyI/xrXKuJy_npE/s320/1.jpg" width="293" /></a></div>
So we all have those things that make us instantly perk up when we see them - some people like puppies, some people like cookies, some people like flowers. Personally, there are two things that, 98% of the time, will instantaneously make me happy, and they are coffee and pretty nails. Whether it be fancy nail art, or a simple manicure with a a colour that makes happy, it will instantly brighten this mood.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Now the main colour I have used is my absolute favourite of all time, cobalt blue. Anything in this colour I adore. This particular polish I am using instantly makes me feel glamorous every time I wear it, and this colour is Sportsgirl's Nail It! in Cobalt (yeah, original name). It is a gorgeous, deep cobalt duochrome, that although is beautiful, is quite sheer and requires at least 3 coats. I think this is great, affordable dupe for OPI DS Magic (an absolutely amazing colour).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nLkDzmwysyw/UOluQSwj4EI/AAAAAAAAAyY/K177AzUS7c0/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nLkDzmwysyw/UOluQSwj4EI/AAAAAAAAAyY/K177AzUS7c0/s320/3.jpg" width="270" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Now anyone who knows me, knows that accent nails are my thing - unless I'm in a super cbf mood, I will always have an accent nail. Whether it compliments the other colour or not, if I'm dying to use a colour and can't decide between two, one will end up on my accent nail. This week I was really in the mood to use the gorgeous Revlon nail enamel 167 Scandalous.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iezkL1SD_zs/UOluSP5SElI/AAAAAAAAAyk/x1A1Br_sAxo/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iezkL1SD_zs/UOluSP5SElI/AAAAAAAAAyk/x1A1Br_sAxo/s320/4.jpg" width="284" /></a></div>
<br />
If you've been in the beauty community for a while, you would recognize this polish. I first saw it mentioned on FleurDeForce and instantly fell in love! It is varying sizes of chunky and micro deep purple in a sheer black base. You can build it up to full coverage, but I personally just do a coat of a black polish with a coat of this over the top. This is just a fabulous polish that glams up any look!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JiRCuLMwF50/UOluN3qba6I/AAAAAAAAAyE/wHCSgPLsRAE/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JiRCuLMwF50/UOluN3qba6I/AAAAAAAAAyE/wHCSgPLsRAE/s320/5.jpg" width="299" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>I really adore both of these polishes, and they always glam up any outfit I'm wearing!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>What's your favourite fabulous nail combination?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FHIzZjTzBNY/UOar10B5jaI/AAAAAAAAAxA/s6FXa98JcoY/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FHIzZjTzBNY/UOar10B5jaI/AAAAAAAAAxA/s6FXa98JcoY/s400/1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Hello Lovelies! As you know, I'm off to the US in a few days, and I'm going through the painful process of packing. Being the little beauty junkie that I am, my cosmetics were the first things that I had sorted and ready to go. However, my brushes were another story.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I'm not sure about you, but in Australia, we do not have the same college atmosphere as in the US. Unless you're a long distance student, they do not readily ofter for students to live on campus, rather live nearby, or commute everyday. Personally, I have never lived away from home for such a long time. I also have no idea what a traditional dorm room is like, apart from a few stories I have heard about tiny rooms, with minimal space. So whilst I'm trying to limit my belongings, I've also been trying to minimise the cosmetics I'm bringing, because I know I won't have much room for it all. And here is where the brush dilemma comes in - how many can I bring, and store, in a way that doesn't take up much room, but ensures I'll have everything I'll need.<br />
<br />
However, in the lead up to going, America had this beautiful thing called Black Friday (which, from what I can gather, is similar to our Boxing Day) where stores had great sales, and Sigma had free shipping! Last time I purchased from Sigma, I bought 3 brushes, and shipping for that totalled $15AU, which I thought was ridiculous! Therefore, I made the decision to purchased the full size <a href="http://www.sigmabeauty.com/Mrs_Bunny_Essential_Kit_p/bblu.htm">Mrs Bunny Brush Kit</a>, a 12 piece brush set which comes with a cute travel Brush holder, which doubles as two brush holders. It has every brush you could want - powder, foundation, cheek and a collection of eye brushes, all in a cute colour and handy storage, with amazingly soft vegan bristles. I know it's been out for ages, <i>but if you would like review, or have any questions, just let me know</i>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bgupl0hANEI/UOaslC_m_6I/AAAAAAAAAxM/sL3QmMWzK4w/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="280" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bgupl0hANEI/UOaslC_m_6I/AAAAAAAAAxM/sL3QmMWzK4w/s400/2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Although this amazing set (which I am completely in love with, if you hadn't guessed) has every brush you could need, it doesn't have a few of my staple brushes, which I use on a regular basis. The foundation brushes they provide are a paddle brush, which I can't get to work for foundation, and a stippling brush, which I prefer to use for blush, as it is light and flowy. Therefore, I needed to fit in my sigma f80 flat kabuki, which is a staple for flawless foundation. Another thing this kit doesn't have is a regular sized blending brush, as opposed to a large one (the E40 is contained), so I brought along my E25. I also packed my small Essence crease brush, which is more rounded and compact, when compared to the pencil brush. I've also added an eyebrow comb, and a travel size thin eyeliner brush, along with a Napoleon Perdis blush brush which I have had forever, that I could not part with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScKW2yOnFQQ/UOauS4KvWNI/AAAAAAAAAxo/_73I37QqsZA/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScKW2yOnFQQ/UOauS4KvWNI/AAAAAAAAAxo/_73I37QqsZA/s320/image.jpeg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It took some time, tetris skills and lots of repacking, but I finally got them all in there, and packed in my overstuffed suitcase! Not long now!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Do you think you could split up your collection? What would be staples in your collection?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy New Year everyone! I don't know about you, but I certainly can't believe this year is over! 2012 just went so fast for me, with work and uni, as well as my upcoming trip to the US. It was also a year that I used many products and started to discover holy grail products that I will certainly be using for a long time!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div>
I have narrowed down my favourite products of the year to 12 - there were many products that I certainly loved and adopted into my routine in somewhere, but they weren't as well loved, or I haven't used them as long, for them to be part of my top 12. So, in no particular order, here are my favourites:<br />
<br />
<b><i>Oh Lola! by Marc Jacobs </i></b>- This has definitely been my signature scent of the year. I received this for christmas in 2011, and it quickly overtook my Vera Wang Princess Perfume as my favourite. Its light and fresh, and almost a little fruity (I'm terrible at describing scents), which is perfect for me, as I don't like overly heavy or floral scents.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin </i></b>- I picked this up this year when it was on sale, because I couldn't justify spending $36AU on a non-high end foundation. However, this is well worth the price - I find it easily compares to my MAC Studio Fix foundation, and even matches my complexion better. It stays all day and just works amazingly! Unfortunately, it's empty, but I will be picking up more in the States!<br />
<br />
<b><i>Essence Gel Eyeliner</i></b> - This year has been the year I really started using Gel Eyeliner - I'm a complete failure at liquid eyeliner, and it was that reason I adopted this as my everyday eyeliner. Gel eyeliner is so much easier to use, and this Essence one stays all day, has a matte finish, and is less than $6AU. For the quality and quantity of this product, that is a steal!<br />
<br />
<b><i>Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Blush</i></b> - I love this blush! That's really all I can say. I am a bit of a blush junkie, and this is one of my favourites - My personal pick, Flash It, has a mix of white, pink and a brown, so when combined, provides 'my natural blush, but better' colour, that is really pigmented and lasts ages! This whole range is great, but this colour I can't live without. When mine broke halfway through the year I was crushed - I had to go out straight away to buy it!<br />
<br />
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Pressed Powder - </i>I can imagine you guys have heard about this raved-about powder. Most people who have tried this out have compared it to the MAC Studio Fix Powder. I've never used it before, but I know this powder is amazing! It provides great coverage, whilst setting your foundation all day. I prefer it over the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, and to top it off, it is an Australian, and super affordable product!<br />
<br />
<i><b>Inglot Cream Concealer </b></i>- This was my first high end concealer, and it certainly got a work out this year, particularly when I was having problem skin. As the name suggests, it's really creamy and provides great coverage.<br />
<br />
<b><i>NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie</i></b> - This lipstick became my go-to nude lipstick. Its perfect for when I have a smokey eye and want a bit of colour to avoid washing out my face with a bland nude lipstick. Its super creamy, feels great, and doesn't dry out. I love it!<br />
<br />
<b><i>Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue</i></b> - This has been the most used colour on my nails this year. Blue is my favourite colour to wear, and this is such a gorgeous shade that will compliment just about everything at any time of the year. It lasts well too, which I love, because I have terrible problems with chipping polish. Every time I wear this colour, I get asked about it. I just adore it.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Bourjois Paris Volumizer Mascara</i></b> - I love two in one mascara's, and this one is fabulous. I use the second step before the first step, and that gives much fuller, and longer lashes without clumping. It is also super black, which is a plus. This mascara makes it look like you're wearing false eyelashes, which is brilliant.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Foundation Brush</i></b> - This has been my most used brush this year. It buffs your foundation in evenly and leaves your skin looking flawless.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Maybelline Baby Lips</i></b> - This year I've been really into lip balms as I've noticed my lips being overly dry, which I can't stand. My balm of choice has been the Maybelline Baby Lips in Menthol (not pictured because I can't actually find it), because it is super moisturizing and I love the tingling menthol feeling on my lips. The one pictured is the Mixed Berry, and combined with your natural lip colour, tints your lips in a pink suited to your skin, which I think is great. I find this one not as moisturizing, but I love the colour that it provides that I find people always ask about.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Urban Decay Naked Palette</i></b> - I don't think I even need to explain one of the most popular eyeshadow palettes of all time. I love neutral colours and eye looks, so this palette is perfect and contains everything I need!<br />
<br />
So those are my favourite products of 2012. There are so many products that nearly made it - my Inglot eyeshadows, my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation or my <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/12/review-bioderma-sebium-h20.html">Bioderma Sebium H2O</a> - but like I said, they were either not as well loved, or I had not used them long enough!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>So what were your favourites of the year?</i></div>

<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">One of the lasted craze's in the Beauty community is Bioderma and their amazing cleansing waters - everyone from Ingrid from <i><a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/missglamorazzi">missglamorazzi</a></i>, to Rachael from <i><a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/RachaelJadee">RachaelJade</a> </i>has tried, tested and raved about this simple, yet innovative product.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The two main cleansing waters are the <a href="http://bellabox.com.au/skin-care/bioderma-crealine-h2o-250ml.html">Bioderma Crealine H2O</a>, the gentle, skin strengthening formula that will be suitable for the most sensitive skin, and this one, the <a href="http://bellabox.com.au/skin-care/bioderma-sebium-h2o-250ml.html">Bioderma Sebium H2O</a>.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This product is amazing! It can work as a gentle makeup remover, as well as a toner for after cleansing. It is marketed as being able to help reduce excess sebum from the skin, and therefore targeted to oily to combination skin. </span><span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">You should know, whilst I have normal to combination skin, depending the season, time of the month etc, I generally tend to drift towards products marketed for combination skin, hence my choice of product.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now, this product certainly does live up to its uses. Not only does it work like a dream to take of makeup, it does it in a way that requires little scrubbing and painful rubbing. I don't use it to specifically take off my mascara (just because I have really sensitive eyes), but it does work like a dream to remove leftover mascara and eye products left on the skin.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It also works extremely well as an after cleansing toner, because, as it can be used as a gentle cleanser on its own, it removes any traces of leftover or deep-in-pores makeup. Sometimes, if I'm feeling really lazy or tired before bed, after I take my makeup off with a wipe, I'll wipe this over my face, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The best part about this micellar water, apart from the removing of </span><span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">impurities and no need for a rinse, is that you only need to use the tiniest amount! Obviously you will need more to remove makeup, but if I use this as a toner or a quick cleanser, I only need 2-3 drop on a cotton wipe for it to do the job - any more and it feels like too much liquid going on my face and a waste.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="color: #4a4a4a; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would highly recommend this water to anyone - a multi-use product that is good for your skin and saves time should become a regular part of any beauty fanatic's routine! It's so good that I'm planning on packing it on my carry on for quick touch ups on the plane.</span></div>

As you most likely know by now, in under 10 days, I'll be leaving to go study in the US for a year, so I'm nearly ready to start sorting through everything and figure out what I want to take with me. For a while now, I've had two Inglot 5 pan freedom system palettes, but they haven't been full - I have seven shades, as little-by-little I've been adding shades.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qO016Ea7r9g/UNw-u0OqVTI/AAAAAAAAAvA/nl4ZC-72LpQ/s1600/Untitled.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qO016Ea7r9g/UNw-u0OqVTI/AAAAAAAAAvA/nl4ZC-72LpQ/s400/Untitled.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
I have two different sets of colours, that eventually, would have led to a grey, smokey palette, along with a neutral brown/taupe palette. However, as I only have 7 eyeshadows, and am not willing to go out and buy more right before I head out to the <i>Land of Cheap Makeup</i>, I had a dilemma - what shades should I choose to make up a palette that would work?</div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MWn-1G3qh18/UNw-sNSbT8I/AAAAAAAAAu4/Ct22OzUa9wo/s1600/Untitled+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="327" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MWn-1G3qh18/UNw-sNSbT8I/AAAAAAAAAu4/Ct22OzUa9wo/s400/Untitled+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
Like I said, I had two ranges of colours, the neutral brown/taupe shades, and two grey shades, as well as a lighter cream shade that could work for both. Although I had to choose only 5, I spent way to long trying to figure out which should make up the palette that would work for me, with colours I wouldn't regret leaving behind or bringing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1owo9Z_xrZw/UNw-w8q-4sI/AAAAAAAAAvI/-pyAf0noO5g/s1600/all.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="187" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1owo9Z_xrZw/UNw-w8q-4sI/AAAAAAAAAvI/-pyAf0noO5g/s400/all.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>The Inglot colours that I have are (from left, top): Pearl 444, Pearl 454, Pearl 423, Matter 363, Pearl 409, AMC Shine 31, Eyeshadow 30</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
The darker grey (Pearl 444) is the first shade I every bought from Inglot, and I love it so much that it was a given that that would be included. The golden brown (Pearl 409) was the only colour that I could immediately rule out - I find it to be a generic brown that is highly similar to Smog in the UD Naked Palette, which I am also bringing, so that could be parted with.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I knew I needed the lighter highlight/lid colour (30) as that is a colour that could work with both colours. The honey gold (AMC Shine 31), which resembles the Rubenesque paint pot from mac to me, just appeals to me - I don't have anything like it and just needed to have it, which is why I picked it up originally!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The biggest problem I had was choosing between the final three - a shimmery, brown toned maroon (Pearl 423), a silver (Pearl 454) and a matte taupe (Matte 363). I do not have any matte eyeshadow like that shade, the maroon is just really pretty, but I don't have many silver shadows, and every now and then I do enjoy a silver eye. I really struggled choosing between them all!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6OzwjJZUBVE/UNw-9fKzWyI/AAAAAAAAAvg/lafao3gz_vk/s1600/sw.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="185" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6OzwjJZUBVE/UNw-9fKzWyI/AAAAAAAAAvg/lafao3gz_vk/s400/sw.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>From left: Pearl 44, Pearl 454, AMC Shine 31, Eyeshadow 30, Matte 363, Pearl 423, Pearl 49</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But in the end, this is what my final Palette ended up looking like. I dropped the light silver and added the matte taupe and maroon to the palette.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-l-DWBAWjJ9A/UNw-ysTBdOI/AAAAAAAAAvQ/-PnU_8VfP0s/s1600/last.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="243" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-l-DWBAWjJ9A/UNw-ysTBdOI/AAAAAAAAAvQ/-PnU_8VfP0s/s400/last.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
Writing this, I'm not even sure I made the right choice! I don't think I'll be bringing any other silvers, so maybe I should be switching out 423 for 454, as I'll have way too many neutrals with me! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>What do you think? Did I make the right choice? What would you have done?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-g0JdnZqFIZc/UNw-znQCk3I/AAAAAAAAAvU/fuIvZdI7jWQ/s1600/lg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-g0JdnZqFIZc/UNw-znQCk3I/AAAAAAAAAvU/fuIvZdI7jWQ/s1600/lg.png" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
In less than 2 weeks, I'll be on a plane to the beauty world homeland, the <i><u>United States</u></i>! I'm going on a study exchange with my university for 6-12 months, so i'll be packing a significant amount of my belongs, including my cosmetics. I can already envision the stress I will have of trying to choose pieces to take with me - I know there is a whole new world of makeup for us little old (and ridiculously) overcharged Aussies waiting, but I'm still attached to quite a lot of my pieces. This is where the series comes into play.<br />
<br />
I have plans to create a beauty related travel series - with dilemmas, what I'm packing, tips and anything else I come up with related to beauty and travelling.<br />
<br />
This is going to be a crazy hectic, nerve racking and (hopefully) exciting time, and I can't wait to share it all with you!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Happy Holidays!</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Ive had a rough year. I went though some stuff that really affected me at the time, and I cut off from most things - including this blog. But, I've began to start my life up again and now that everything is on track again, I thought a possibility would be to begin blogging again on Makeup and Me.<br />
<br />
I thought I'd just start fresh, give it a new look, and begin again now that everything is different and I'm heading off to the US next year (makes for some exciting new makeup).<br />
<br />
What do you guys think? Is it possible to start again? Would you guys be interested after so much has changed?<br />
<br />
I'd love to hear your thoughts!<br />
<br />
Love Gianna<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GVsNfye-8hQ/T5P-ROhFNgI/AAAAAAAAAsg/rG67CjoKQAY/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="187" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GVsNfye-8hQ/T5P-ROhFNgI/AAAAAAAAAsg/rG67CjoKQAY/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The first thing I have to say before anything else is: <i>THESE ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA! </i>Unfortunately for all us Aussie's, unless you have a super nice penpal or are willing to order off eBay, like myself, you don't have access to these little tubs of wonder just yet. But believe me when I say, you want to try source them as soon as you can!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo's, are 24hr Cream Gel Shadows that have been compared to MAC Paint Pots, in texture, pigmentation and lasting power.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YW9-SZk-2w0/T5QAEZwDkFI/AAAAAAAAAso/G1NGggw45cU/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="167" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YW9-SZk-2w0/T5QAEZwDkFI/AAAAAAAAAso/G1NGggw45cU/s320/2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The two shades I ordered were <i>15 Audacious Asphalt </i>(left) and <i>35 Tough as Taupe.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SSWyDPK7vEk/T5QBfPL0HAI/AAAAAAAAAsw/6fx9nh5br1E/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="176" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SSWyDPK7vEk/T5QBfPL0HAI/AAAAAAAAAsw/6fx9nh5br1E/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The cream eyeshadows, which come in gorgeous clear glass jars with a screw-top black lid, so that you can see the colour through the bottom, are the perfect addition to any makeup kit! They feel dry to the touch, but swatch as an incredibly smooth, pigmented cream shadow. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Audacious Asphalt</i> is a light charcoal, blue-grey with finely milled silver glitter. The glitter, which I was originally worried about, isn't at all chunky and obnoxious, but rather provides a little sparkle to the eye, and brightens up the eye. I find that this is the perfect base for a smokey eye, or can even be worn as a shade on its own. It is really a flattering colour!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Tapestry Taupe, is a very different colour. It is a grey and purple toned, chocolate-taupe shade (I'm not too good at colour matching), and is also a matte shadow, unlike the others in this collection. So many reviews I've read and watched have remarked on the uniqueness of this shade, because there aren't too many, if at all, cream shadows resembling this colour, on the market, particularly a matte shade! This makes it a perfect staple for everyday, or dramatic makeup, because it works with just about any neutral, smokey eye, or other look just perfectly. I am so glad I purchased this one particularly!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-naTYxfIW_JE/T5QELFjMJkI/AAAAAAAAAs4/dnHmjEBMuHY/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-naTYxfIW_JE/T5QELFjMJkI/AAAAAAAAAs4/dnHmjEBMuHY/s1600/4.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Left: Audacious Asphalt, Right: Tapestry Taupe</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although I have never tried one of MAC's Paint Pot's, I completely understand what the hype iver these is about! With no creasing, and amazing wear, these are amazing additions to any makeup user's collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am completely satisfied with the two shades I picked. Although all the shades are stunning, and I had to stop myself from buying the gorgeous teal shade (simply because I tend to shy away from colours and I was scared it would sit unused), right now, if I had to pick another shade, it would have to be <i>Bad to the Bronze</i>, which I can just see myself gluing to my Naked Palette! Such a pretty coppery-bronze shadow.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I definitely rate these a 10/10, and suggest that the minute you can find these, that you try pick yourself some up! I sourced around on ebay and ended up finding mine for about $7AU each, plus $5AU p&h, which is a pretty good deal, considering I can see them marked less than $15 (at the minimum) in Australia!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
P.S Due to the overwhelming number of entries for my giveaway, the results won't be posted for at least a few days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Have you tried them yet?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I need to find some Fashion (and Health) Blogs!<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Hello my lovelies! I need some help. I have never been one to keep up with fashion trends, or try anything out of my comfort zone, but that has to change. Now. Especially since I'm in my second year at uni, and that everyone there seems to be walking down a high fashion runway, I need to start expanding my wardrobe and trying new things, and I think there is the best way to start.</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>I need help from my beautiful cyber beauty community, because if you're good at makeup, I have automatically come to the conclusion you're good with fashion. <b>So If you have any great fashion blogs, particulary with ones suited to a smaller budget, could you please send them to me? </b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>Also, this is the time where I have to start getting healthy. I'm definitely not the healthiest person around - I try to eat healthy, unfortunately do not drink enough water, and don't really exercise too much. But I'm putting my foot down because I want to change that too.<b> So, if you have any good 'inspirational' health and exercise blogs, especially for beginners, once again, hit me up!</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>And one last thing - WOW! Ever since I posted my 100 follower giveaway I have gotten nearly 60 followers! I didn't think the giveaway was that good, but hey, no complaints I guess! Thanks to all my old faithful followers, and greetings to my new followers! Hope you enjoy my blog!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>What do you think? Do you have any recommendations for me?</i></div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-P1AcLYIOjn4/T4TaqzN0nBI/AAAAAAAAAsA/gUrQ_WR1veI/s1600/Untitled.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-P1AcLYIOjn4/T4TaqzN0nBI/AAAAAAAAAsA/gUrQ_WR1veI/s320/Untitled.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
So I know I'm a little late, but I've had such a hectic week... I guess it's better late then never! I try not to skip out on favorites post, simply because I know how much I love reading other people's favorites, basically because that's usually where I find new products to add to my wish list!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
As I only have the one picture today, i'll start from the top and work my way around clockwise:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Covergirl's LashBlast Volume Mascara <i>with</i> Benefit's Bad Gal Mascara </u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'll have a review coming up on why this pair is spectacular, but for now, all I'll say is (without trying to sound up myself) that every time I wear this combination, I get compliments on my eyelashes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Essence Gel Eyeliner in <i>Berlin Rocks</i></u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A purple eyeliner that adds a hint of glam to regular looks. I like how different it is to a simple black line.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This eyeliner is included in my giveaway <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/100-follower-giveaway.html">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At the Heat Warehouse sale, they had $5 on all Bourjois products, and I needed a new foundation, so I picked up this one, and another in my shade. This foundation (which I'll be reviewing in a Bourjois foundation comparison post) is surprisingly good - a sheer coverage, but can be easily built up, and is (what I believe to be) a dewy finish. It's different, but I like it. And like all Bourjois foundations, it smells amazing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>BYS Blusher in <i>Peach Sundae</i></u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Any blogger who has access to these blushers know how amazing these are! Now that I've gone darker again, I've been doing more smokey eyes, and therefore a darker shade on my cheeks. A nice, sheer peach colour - I love it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliner For Blue Eyes in Black</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've done a review of these <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/review-and-swatches-physicians-formula.html">here</a>, but the one I like in particular is the black. Although it has blue glitter in it, and I do not have blue eyes, this is the only black gel eyeliner I have presently, so it has been getting use daily.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Schwarzkopf Extra Care Instant Volume Powder</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the powder fronted by Heidi Klum, and I'm just going to say that I love it! I have super fine hair that goes limp in a second, so I love how this gives my hair staying volume.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So these are my favorites for the month of March. What were you favorites this month? Did you find any new products?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Nothing better then going to post your 100 follower giveaway, only to notice you've lost a follower!</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lk0I9c7Ql0E/T3UZw-KgGvI/AAAAAAAAAqw/ulsUgu7sRSk/s1600/HF.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="132" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lk0I9c7Ql0E/T3UZw-KgGvI/AAAAAAAAAqw/ulsUgu7sRSk/s320/HF.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Any of you who have read my blog with some regularity will know that I am a huge fan of Maybelline products - it is one of my favorite brands, and I love the quality and variety of the brand. It therefore pains me to say, that my fail of this week is the highly famed Maybelline Lash Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h8alfk4OrA8/T3UaZ1zpXvI/AAAAAAAAAq4/ixMTdpm2t4Y/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="125" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h8alfk4OrA8/T3UaZ1zpXvI/AAAAAAAAAq4/ixMTdpm2t4Y/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /><br />
I may have been a bit harsh on the cult favorite eyeliner (loved by the likes of many beauty guru's, particularly MakeupByTiffanyD on youtube), but it just did not work for me.<br />
<br />
Firstly, I have enough difficulty applying eyeliner precisely without having to cope with the bendable felt tip. I feel, for me, it is good to do some parts of the eye, but then I become clumsy or press to hard, then just get it all over my eye. I'm not against felt tips - the Face of Australia high definition eyeliner I used had a felt tip, but it was much smaller stiff, providing a more precise line - but I just did not like this applicator.<br />
<br />
The other main issue I had with this eyeliner is that it dries shiny. When I apply eyeliner, whether it be simple or dramatic, I like my black to be matte. Matte, dark and intense. I think the shiny formulation is to 'dressy' for everyday use and just doesn't suit the more dramatic eye looks I do. Like I said, this is just my opinion for how I do my eye looks (I'm very fussy when it comes to my makeup).<br />
<br />
There is really no issue with the formulation or the brush, and I know many people love this eyeliner, but for me, it's just not what I look for.<br />

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-68OcfL1oUi8/T3Q5lKCg_5I/AAAAAAAAAqQ/GVz6UczvXok/s1600/HG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="132" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-68OcfL1oUi8/T3Q5lKCg_5I/AAAAAAAAAqQ/GVz6UczvXok/s320/HG.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
First of all, I am sooooooo sorry I haven't been active for, well, over a week now! Not only have I been crazy with work and uni, but I've had the flu, so I've been down for the count. But I'm going to try make much more of an effort starting this week.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lY0CpKXHSuw/T3Q16aEWRqI/AAAAAAAAApw/_KXiE0E6OCU/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="267" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lY0CpKXHSuw/T3Q16aEWRqI/AAAAAAAAApw/_KXiE0E6OCU/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Anyway, onto my new love: Inglot eyeshadows. The shade I'm loving is a Pearl shadow, in the color 444. It is a gorgeous purple-toned taupe. It is a shade of brown with the perfect mix of gray and purple undertones - an absolutely fabulous color!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SkzlDk5i8TU/T3Q3fob3WXI/AAAAAAAAAp4/NkNG4Wesq4A/s1600/back.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SkzlDk5i8TU/T3Q3fob3WXI/AAAAAAAAAp4/NkNG4Wesq4A/s1600/back.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
There is a bit hype about the quality of these shadows, so on boxing day, I went out and purchased a 5 piece freedom palette and my first eyeshadow (shown on the left). These shadows have a beautiful, smooth consistency and a brilliant lasting power. Just by swatching them in-store and looking at the color range, I knew I'd be back for more, hence the reason for a 5 palette.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uGepN7hNOi4/T3Q4EQdFB1I/AAAAAAAAAqA/sjDYt5jmTPg/s1600/sw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uGepN7hNOi4/T3Q4EQdFB1I/AAAAAAAAAqA/sjDYt5jmTPg/s1600/sw.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
The freedom system at Inglot is a truly fabulous system - you can buy various sized palettes to create customized combinations to suit your skin tone, or favorite looks. This way, you aren't stuck with eyeshadows going to waste because you never use them. It is also not limited to eyeshadows, but lipsticks, brow powders and waxes, and concealers.<br />
<br />
The freedom eyeshadows, at $10AU each, I think are fantastic quality for what you pay for them. You can buy so many cheaper eyeshadows or palettes that crease or wear terribly, whereas you're paying for quality here (not that I'm saying there aren't also cheaper shadows that are good quality).<br />
<br />
I would definitely recommend splurging on a palette, or even just a shadow to test them out! Everyone needs to treat them selves now and then.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tBgjQxnfq2o/T2Hm1miay2I/AAAAAAAAApY/KJ-93qmR54c/s1600/HG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="132" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tBgjQxnfq2o/T2Hm1miay2I/AAAAAAAAApY/KJ-93qmR54c/s320/HG.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Everybody seems to love the Sally Hansen range of nail polishes, and over time, I've picked up a couple Xtreme Wear shades at those discount beauty stands, but I've never really worn them. It wasn't until Priceline were having a sale on Sally Hansen that I stopped by the stand and saw this color that I finally decided to take the plunge and try it out. Thankfully, I was not disappointed!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WT0MbQX5mZ0/T2HmsvwfmWI/AAAAAAAAApQ/rMNbl-89NuY/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WT0MbQX5mZ0/T2HmsvwfmWI/AAAAAAAAApQ/rMNbl-89NuY/s320/1.jpg" width="191" /></a></div>
This color, Deep Purple, is a gorgeous, shimmery blue toned purple (one of my favorite colors) with finely milled glitter. I think this is a color that would be absolutely wearable for any skin tone, and would please fans of any shade! I found the polish was opaque with just two coats.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q2t1dbryz9M/T2HogS7EXdI/AAAAAAAAApg/Hx82Im3wTtw/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q2t1dbryz9M/T2HogS7EXdI/AAAAAAAAApg/Hx82Im3wTtw/s320/2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Now, I don't have the best luck with wearing of any brand of polish on my nails. Particularly with OPI shades, mixing with working at a supermarket, the tips of my nails are constantly being chipped and flaking away, which infuriates me to no end. This polish on the other hand, did not chip! It wore for at least five days with no problems, and when the tips did begin to wear, the polish faded away, and didn't chip off.<br />
<br />
I was really impressed with this polish! I haven't tried any other colors from this range, but I am definitely going to purchase more. The shade range is amazing, and for $6-7AU, a great bargain! I really recommend going to pick some up.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have you tried any of this range?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am sooooooo sorry that these posts are so late! Like I said in my update post, I've been a little sick, as well as busy, so I wasn't able to get them up, but I guess it is better late then never! Anyway, on to the disappointment of the <strike>past few months</strike> week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xJ3vssGdMUI/T2HeJeUnoEI/AAAAAAAAAo4/CDC1-RZ2NVw/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xJ3vssGdMUI/T2HeJeUnoEI/AAAAAAAAAo4/CDC1-RZ2NVw/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I picked this set up on sale in the summer, because I was running out of a cleanser and having trouble with some spots at the time. I thought $15 for this set was a great deal, because it included a cleanser, toner, moisturizer and treatment for spots!<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. I know you're supposed to allow about 6 weeks for a skincare routine to take effect, but using this consistently for two weeks, then on and off for weeks after that, and I noticed absolutely no change! Spots will gradually fade over time naturally, but the fading of mine was not attributed to this, nor did these products stop the emergence of new spots.<br />
<br />
I also found the toner to be particularly harsh - it had a strong alcohol smell and although I could feel it cleaning my skin, I could also feel how chemically it was.<br />
<br />
I am generally a fan of Clean & Clear products - my first ever skin care routine was their three-step program, and I still use their moisturizer today, but unfortunately, this has not impressed me. I'll only continue using these products until I finish them. No need to waste them I guess.<br />
<br />
These didn't work for me, so personally, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else, but kudos if they worked for you!<br />

I am super sorry for not having posted in about a week! It's just between starting uni again and work lately, plus the fact I've been a bit sick, I've had a lot on my plate. Hopefully this weekend will be the start of it all settling down, so I can get into regular posting again!
Thanks for being so patient :)

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N3yh1YzAF4s/T1rtF3_fGNI/AAAAAAAAAn4/fwh3B7u2TRQ/s1600/IMG_0310.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N3yh1YzAF4s/T1rtF3_fGNI/AAAAAAAAAn4/fwh3B7u2TRQ/s320/IMG_0310.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Many of you know that I am a big fan of tags - I think they are so much fun! One of my favorite bloggers, Aly from Seven Things Beauty, has created a super fun fun tag - The Colors of the Rainbow Tag.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Basically, you have to name one beauty product in your collection representing each color of the rainbow. One of each for:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Red</li>
<li>Orange</li>
<li>Yellow</li>
<li>Green</li>
<li>Blue</li>
<li>Indigo </li>
<li>Violet</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Aly was particularly creative in suggesting that you could use not only the color of the product, but also the packaging as a colour. Get the concept? Ok, here we go!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red; font-size: large;">Red</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Red was probably the easiest product for me to choose. My favorite lipstick of all time is my red <i>Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in 090 True Red</i>, so it was no surprise this was my choice.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1kjVxyXD_qY/T1rv1oBa78I/AAAAAAAAAoA/CvxOLqHquSY/s1600/red.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1kjVxyXD_qY/T1rv1oBa78I/AAAAAAAAAoA/CvxOLqHquSY/s320/red.jpg" width="267" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: orange; font-size: large;">Orange</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Orange was a difficult color for me to find, because out of all my makeup, I only have two orange products! I ended up deciding on my <i>Covergirl WetSlicks Fruit Spritzers in 520 Papaya Splash.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-66DE1tglbgs/T1rxIHkXgrI/AAAAAAAAAoI/BcaoqWDg8l0/s1600/or.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="124" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-66DE1tglbgs/T1rxIHkXgrI/AAAAAAAAAoI/BcaoqWDg8l0/s320/or.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow; font-size: large;">Yellow</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Yellow was another difficult color for me to find! I have no yellow products at all, but luckily, I have a few yellow packages. Here I have the <i>Covergirl LashBlast Length Water Resistant Mascara.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a7YpRYg-wYs/T1rxnMXhU2I/AAAAAAAAAoQ/iqx7pVD1Ea0/s1600/yel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a7YpRYg-wYs/T1rxnMXhU2I/AAAAAAAAAoQ/iqx7pVD1Ea0/s320/yel.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: lime; font-size: large;">Green</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Once again, another difficult one, as I am not a fan of ridiculously colored makeup, but out of all of them, this product did not need an extra second of thought! One of my favorite polishes of all time is the <i>OPI Fresh Frog Of Bel Air </i>glitter from the 2011 Muppets holiday collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jMsyTtb32Ck/T1rySDxeNAI/AAAAAAAAAoY/jz1HQK35y8M/s1600/green.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jMsyTtb32Ck/T1rySDxeNAI/AAAAAAAAAoY/jz1HQK35y8M/s320/green.jpg" width="267" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue; font-size: large;">Blue</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Blue is one of the most predominant colors in my wardrobe, but unfortunately not one I wear to much of on my face. However, I do have this gorgeous<i> Covergirl Eye Enhancers Quad in Crystal Waters</i>. The only reason I don't wear this, is because the water is horribly pigmented!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2dfIPe1el-0/T1rzKFX_ROI/AAAAAAAAAog/ZeXNePkAOHo/s1600/blue.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2dfIPe1el-0/T1rzKFX_ROI/AAAAAAAAAog/ZeXNePkAOHo/s320/blue.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #351c75; font-size: large;">Indigo</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Indigo is another one of my favorite colors, but it's not one of my favorites to wear on my eyes. However I do have this old<i> Red Earth eyeshadow in PU078</i> (I think it's an old brand - I haven't seen it around in years!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YRJEfygBC3I/T1r0Tg2il2I/AAAAAAAAAoo/fI2FVhYotxo/s1600/ind.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YRJEfygBC3I/T1r0Tg2il2I/AAAAAAAAAoo/fI2FVhYotxo/s320/ind.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #c27ba0; font-size: large;">Violet</span></u></b></div>
<div>
Violet is a funny color. I love purple, and I love blue, but I'm not a fan of violet. However, I do love <i>OPI's Planks A Lot</i> from the 2011 Pirates of the Caribbean collection. It is such a nice color to wear all year round!</div>

I started uni this week, plus I've worked quite a bit, but I've finally got them up! This month I've actually got a few new products that I was excited to test out, I found I loved, and have become much loved parts of my collection. I finally have some favorites that are different (and don't involve my Naked Palette!), and I'm quite excited to share them with you.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7cUdejS_UkA/T1lLfHJQCKI/AAAAAAAAAm0/n3PE9DVBaVg/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7cUdejS_UkA/T1lLfHJQCKI/AAAAAAAAAm0/n3PE9DVBaVg/s320/2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><i><b>Australis Mineral Color Inject Lip Travel Case</b></i> - I had a full size version of Lambada (the pale pink), and I loved the formula and the smell, but the color wasn't too becoming on me. However, I am now sold on the entire line, and plan to pick up many full size colors, because I love the formulation, and overall, just everything about these glosses!<br />
<br />
<b><i>Covergirl Intense Shadow Blast in Beige Blaze</i></b> - I've just done a review on these <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/holy-grail-of-week-intense-shadowblast_05.html">here</a>, but this color, the beige in particular, is perfect as a shadow or a base for any look!<br />
<br />
<b><i>Napoleon Perdis Cheek to Chic Blush Duo in Sand</i></b> - I purchased this in a set last year, and it wasn't until I dyed my hair dark brown about two months ago that I realized the beauty of this blush. Both of them are pretty, but it's the peachy brown that I love. It's perfect for when I want to do darker eyes, and the slight amount of glitter adds a little bit of glam!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2oHDTRPyOUM/T1lOKYLDOkI/AAAAAAAAAm8/PwrxSrwTWEI/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2oHDTRPyOUM/T1lOKYLDOkI/AAAAAAAAAm8/PwrxSrwTWEI/s320/3.jpg" width="232" /></a></div><b><i>Australis Nail Colour in Aqua</i></b> - I picked this up for $3AU in a bin at Target, and it was such a steal! This polish is a gorgeous color with relatively long lasting power! One of my new favorites.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Face of Australia Mineral Therapy Illuminator in Angel Flame </i></b>- I did a review on this <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/review-and-swatches-face-of-australia.html">here</a>, so I won't go into much detail, but all I can say is: pretty! Such a gorgeous blush or highlight color.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Maybelline Limited Edition Baby Lips in Protecting Berry</i></b> - Since I was about twelve, I have not had a single lipbalm in my bag for more then a week, until this beautiful thing came along. It's moisturizing, smells great, and really, who can pass up a limited edition product? Another review for this <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/review-maybelline-limited-edition-baby.html">here</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o76-e49LXTk/T1lQAH_cWxI/AAAAAAAAAnI/koPzYR_KQVk/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="153" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o76-e49LXTk/T1lQAH_cWxI/AAAAAAAAAnI/koPzYR_KQVk/s320/4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><b><i>Maybelline Dream LumiTouch in Ivory </i></b>- As reviewed <a href="http://xiheartmakeupx.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/holy-grail-of-week-maybelline-dream.html">here</a>, this baby is my lifesaver! I have terrible black circles under my eyes, and this works wonders to cover them up.<br />
<br />
<b><i>Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner in 061 Jet Black</i></b> - This is a rediscovered product that I only started reusing because I couldn't find my Maybelline MasterLiner. I thought I originally stopped using this because of crappy staying power, but I was wrong! It's creamy, pigmented and lasts extremely well!<br />
<br />
One of my favorite YouTubers, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/RachaelJadee">RachelJadee</a>, usually does a non beauty favorites section to her videos. I thought I might show y'all my other favorites of the month, and if you're not interested in seeing them again, just let me know!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1iAka-_WMCc/T1lSUyPPUhI/AAAAAAAAAnQ/1pQZt9I_J7A/s400/5.gif" width="400" /></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; text-align: left;"><b><i>Favorite TV Show - The Vampire Diaries</i></b></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This month I rediscovered my love of the Vampire Diaries, particularly due to The Originals giving the show a bit of a welcomed mix up. It doesn't hurt that Klaus and Elijah look the way they do! And I'm loving the Klaus and Caroline blossoming romance at the moment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gO16tF4j6Uo/T1lT8naJt-I/AAAAAAAAAnY/iTl8sCPr9LI/s1600/7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gO16tF4j6Uo/T1lT8naJt-I/AAAAAAAAAnY/iTl8sCPr9LI/s320/7.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><i>Favorite Actor - Tom Hardy</i></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I saw This Means War, starring Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy, on Valentines day with some friends, and I fell in love with Tom Hardy and all his British beauty! One of my friends told me he was in the BBC TV Movie of Wuthering Heights as Heathcliff, which I watched and just loved him in it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y3GQtwvsB-8/T1lVGD18JGI/AAAAAAAAAnk/oWV_b5OjORM/s1600/6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y3GQtwvsB-8/T1lVGD18JGI/AAAAAAAAAnk/oWV_b5OjORM/s320/6.jpg" width="196" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><i>Favorite Book - Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte</i></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm embarrassed to say I had never read this book I saw the movie mentioned above. I've always wanted to, but never got around to seeing it. I've started reading it and am about halfway through, but have had to keep stopping and starting. Apart from the caretaker Joseph's language and the brat Cathy, I'm really enjoying the book so far!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>So these have been my February Favorites this month. What have you been loving?</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Z5uk4_Vhiy0/T1lVeYDV4gI/AAAAAAAAAnw/s1dHN2XuiLE/s1600/lg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Z5uk4_Vhiy0/T1lVeYDV4gI/AAAAAAAAAnw/s1dHN2XuiLE/s1600/lg.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

You name it, I'm willing to try it, simply because I'm hoping to find the Australian version of Wet'n'Wild or NYX. I refuse to believe that some of the cheapest American cosmetic brands can have amazing quality, whilst our cheapest brands like BYS or Savvy by DB most often have one star product, amongst a range of 'duds'. Now, I've been quite fortunate with the BYS I've tried, with the blushes being a cult favorite amongst Aussie beauty bloggers and the lipsticks being amazing quality for the price. Unfortunately, these Shimmer Sticks were an ultimate fail in my book.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLYfOYWkjZo/T1SI650lYuI/AAAAAAAAAmU/mRTQbEb2tHk/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="172" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLYfOYWkjZo/T1SI650lYuI/AAAAAAAAAmU/mRTQbEb2tHk/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>Top: 06 Bronze, Bottom: 01 Silver</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I've never used a NYX Jumbo pencil before, but I am pining away to use one. When I saw these, a small part of me jumped at the idea that I'd found a cheap, Australian alternative. Considering these were only $4AU each and I'm quite a fan of other BYS products, I purchased a shimmery white, as well as a shimmery bronze color, praying for the best, as there was quite a color selection.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4UIx6HXCMyk/T1SMPn7lB9I/AAAAAAAAAmc/288EuQpBFxY/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4UIx6HXCMyk/T1SMPn7lB9I/AAAAAAAAAmc/288EuQpBFxY/s320/2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>Left: Swatched, Right: Blended</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As you can see from the swatches, these creamy crayons are richly pigmented, and also provide a nice sheen of shimmery color when blended out. I was super impressed by how much payoff these colors gave when swatched on my hand, that I immediately tested them on my eyes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As I was only around the house, the way I tested them was a bit unusual: I applied primer to one eye, then left one without a base, then applied half of each color, quite thickly (as swatched), on either eye. Sadly, after less than half an hour, they creased! They color had worn off until only what looked like the blended swatches was left on the eye, with big chunks left in my creases. I then tried the same thing with the colors blended out (as opposed to applied heavily). Unfortunately, once again, they creased within half an hour, with or without primers.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I would possibly use the white as an inner eye corner or brow bone highlight, but because of the creasing rate, would not use it for anything else, nor will I use the copper shade at all. This is simply due to the fact that I want my makeup to actually look good.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Honestly, on my recommendation, if you see these in store, I'd give them a miss. One of the products to <i>finally</i> hit the shores of Australia is the CoverGirl Intense ShadowBlast's: a liquid primer and eyeshadow in one. These tubes are filled with a shimmery hit of intense colour with brilliant staying power, packed into an amazing, multipurpose liquid.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OrP_2se-utY/T1R_tyQoNsI/AAAAAAAAAl0/mYNi9wJk4AA/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="144" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OrP_2se-utY/T1R_tyQoNsI/AAAAAAAAAl0/mYNi9wJk4AA/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>Top: Beige Blaze, Bottom: Brown Bling</i></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><i>Intensify your eye look! Our innovative formula of rich eyeshadow with built-in primer gives you intense crease-resistant color that lasts for hours. Intense ShadowBlast is rich color that stays! </i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div>The two colors I purchased where Beige Blaze, a shimmery beige champagne, and Brown Bling, a shimmery chocolate brown. I bought these because they seemed like the two most versatile colors in the collection, and I knew I'd definitely get some use out of these shades. The collection also includes a nice blue-toned grey, a green, a pink and a blue, all with shimmery finishes.<br />
<br />
Now, the most important aspect: staying power. Considering these are a primer, as well as a shadow, you would expect a good staying power, as well as it being a good base. You can apply this thickly on to be a strong color, or blended as a primer with a wash of sheeny color, and as long as you let it dry, this baby will stay put. I've worn it with and without a primer, and it only creased when it was applied thickly without being allowed to dry properly. It stayed amazingly, and lasted for hours! Considering this is a 'drugstore' product, and only $14AU, I did not expect this shadow to be that good.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-35jTn_ZXO3k/T1SCjjq1MiI/AAAAAAAAAl8/o1tLM6M1A4g/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-35jTn_ZXO3k/T1SCjjq1MiI/AAAAAAAAAl8/o1tLM6M1A4g/s1600/3.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>Top: Swatched heavily (beige, brown)</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><i>Bottom: Blended out (beige, brown)</i></div><br />
As you can tell, these creamy liquids are richly pigmented, and look beautiful on it's own or as a blended our base. I personally prefer the brown as an eyeshadow as opposed to blended out, but I love the beige either way! It's one of those colors that look good with everything!<br />
<br />
I've had these for a couple of weeks now, and although I haven't used the brown as much, I've been using the cream as either an eyeshadow, shimmery base, or highlight nearly everyday! As they last most of the day, I find I can wear them on its own for a quick and easy makeup look on days I have to rush.<br />
<br />
I think the Intense ShadowBlast products are brilliant! Products with multipurpose uses that work as all the things they are marketed as (e.g work as both a primer <i>and</i> a eyeshadow) are amazing - they are great for people on a budget, because they can get more for their money and a great quality product, at least in relation to these shadows. I highly recommend that if you see these shadows, purchase them! You will not regret it.<br />

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c8kmxZ8BrqY/T09CRgCyVyI/AAAAAAAAAlM/v-oc9eLbshM/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="157" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c8kmxZ8BrqY/T09CRgCyVyI/AAAAAAAAAlM/v-oc9eLbshM/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
A few months ago, the revamped <i>Australis</i> brand and their products were all the rage in the Australian beauty blogging community, and they still keep getting great reviews. However, at the moment, Face Of Australia is getting all the hype and praise. Mind you, this is well deserved. FOA have come out with some great products lately that I'm sure you've noticed, one of them being the <i>Lip Quencher in Lychee Crush</i> (review coming soon). Another amazing product, which I'm sure you've heard of, is the Mineral Therapy Illuminator, a range of liquid highlighters available in four shades to create a glowing complexion.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GoxE-6K6Yqg/T09ElnG8P6I/AAAAAAAAAlU/y5iZkSwnJ4w/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="203" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GoxE-6K6Yqg/T09ElnG8P6I/AAAAAAAAAlU/y5iZkSwnJ4w/s320/2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The Mineral Therapy Illuminators are described as being 'a light reflecting illuminating liquid to create a gorgeous sheen with a touch of colour'. The illuminators come in a huge 50mL (1.7oz) tube, which will truly last for years, considering you need about (or less than) a pea size for both cheeks. It is dispensed through a small hole that lets you control how much you squeeze out, so you're not wasting excess product or using too much.<br />
<br />
The shade I purchased was Angel Flame, a gorgeous shimmery pink with golden undertones, that many have claimed to be a dupe for the Nars Orgasm Illuminator, at only a fraction of the cost! It also comes in Angel Mist, a shimmery white with pink undertones (a dupe for Benefit's High Beam), Angel Flame, a a shimmery pinky shade with brown undertones, and Angel Glow, a shimmery bronze shade. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MOoaWPwa2Wg/T09HQrgsCuI/AAAAAAAAAlc/QnDn9eIKawE/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MOoaWPwa2Wg/T09HQrgsCuI/AAAAAAAAAlc/QnDn9eIKawE/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Top: Benefit High Beam</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Bottom left: Angel Flame Swatched Right: blended out</i></div>
<br />
There is a shade to compliment any skin tone, and if I didn't need more blushes/bronzers/highlighters, I would certainly go buy the other shades. I really might consider going to buy Angel Mist, because who would pay in excess of $50AU for a 13mL (.45 fl oz) for Benefit's High Beam, a lovely simple highlighter, <b><i>when I could pay three times less, for nearly four times more product</i></b>! Same case for Nars Orgasm illuminator. So many people have said these are just as good, if not better! And the lasting power is just as good as the product!<br />
<br />
These illuminators are absolutely amazing! Fantastic price for an insane amount of product that has five uses! A body highlighter, a face highlighter, a mixer with foundation for dewy skin, temporary tan or a blush, all in one for $14.95AU! How cheap is that? How brilliant is that?!<br />
<br />
I highly suggest if you can, get your hands on at least one of these babies! These are nearly always sold out wherever I go, and considering the website says they are limited edition, you never know when they'll be taken away. Seriously guys, it's totally worth it!<br />

Every year, the celebrity and fashion world goes gaga over award shows occurring in America, with the Oscars being one of the most popular. Now I didn't watch it myself, but I've looked over the winners, as well as looked over some pictures, and I've chosen some of my favorite looks and outfits worn by the stars to the award show and after parties.<br />
